Mueller Steam Specialty A WATTS Brand 758-N CI 125 4 in Flanged Cast Iron LEAD FREE Y-Strainer Class 125

Item was purchased in a Liquidation Sale and appears to be brand new.

This 4 inch flanged cast iron Y strainer, class 125, is used to filter undesirable particulate from pipelines, thereby protecting other equipment downstream. It has a 0.062 perforated 304 stainless steel screen. The threaded blowoff allows for a variety of means of cleaning the unit. This model is imported.

Construction
  • All covers have NPT blowoff outlet at location C.
  • Recessed seat in the cover assures accurate screen alignment
  • Bosses at the inlet and outlet flanges are provided for the gauge taps
Self-Cleaning
  • Self-cleaning is accomplished by opening the plug or valve connected to the blowoff outlet
  • Advise when strainers are to be mounted in vertical piping so we can rotate the cover to position the blowoff at the lowest point
Blowoff Outlets
  • Outlets are NPT tapped
  • Sizes of tapping specified in dimensions table
  • Not normally furnished with plug. Plug available from retailer
