T5120 / T5220 / T6320 Notes

1. Quantity and size of components are dependent on DIMM size and manufacturer.
2. Four, eight, and sixteen FBDIMM configurations are supported.
3. All FBDIMMs in a Branch must have the same Sun part number.
4. All FBDIMMs in the server must be the same capacity (i.e. all 1GB, all 2GB, all 4GB, or if supported, all 8GB).
5. The minimum requirement is four FBDIMMs in the Channel 0, DIMM 0 slots.

T5140 / T5240 Notes

1. Eight, twelve, and sixteen FBDIMM configurations are supported on the system board.
2. Eight and sixteen FBDIMM configurations are supported on the memory mezzanine.
3. The system board requires sixteen FBDIMMs before installing the memory mezzanine.
4. All FBDIMMs within a CMP must have the same memory size.
5. If Firmware is < 7.1.7.f, all FBDIMMs must have the same memory size.
6. Different size FBDIMMs on different CMPs are supported (i.e. FBDIMMs in CMP0 can have different memory size than those in CMP1) with Firmware 7.1.7.f and Firmware 7.2.2.e, but BugID 15587979 [SUNBT6879970] affects mixed memory configurations with Firmware 7.2.2.e,
7. Firmware 7.2.6 (Patch 139444-06) fixes BugID 15587979 [SUNBT6879970].
8. FBDIMMs within a Branch must have the same Sun part number.
9. Mixing 1.8V and 1.5V FBDIMMs is not supported.
10. Low Voltage 1.5V FBDIMMs require System Firmware 7.1.6.d.

Netra T5440 Notes

1. All FBDIMMs must have the same memory size.
2. FBDIMMs within a Branch must have the same Sun part number.
3. Mixing 1.8V and 1.5V FBDIMMs is not supported.
4. Low Voltage 1.5V FBDIMMs require System Firmware 7.1.6.d.
5. Memory Riser 501-7678 is only compatible with 1.8V VDD/VDDQ DIMMs.
6. Memory Riser 511-1231 is compatible with 1.5V and 1.8V VDD/VDDQ DIMMs.

SPARC Enterprise T5440 Notes

1. All FBDIMMs within a single CPU/Memory module must have the same memory size.
2. FBDIMMs on different CPU/Memory modules can be of different sizes.
3. FBDIMMs within a Branch must have the same Sun part number.
4. 4GB 800MHz FBDIMMs are only available on 1.6GHz systems, and cannot be mixed with FBDIMMs of other speeds.
5. Install the first four FBDIMMs on the CPU/Memory Module.
6. Install the next four FBDIMMs on the Memory Module in the D1 slots.
7. Install the next eight FBDIMMs on the Memory Module in the D2 and D3 slots.
