"Symphony Replacement" radio show transcription discs produced by The Armed Forces Radio Service.  One complete 55 minute radio program on these two 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm discs.  These discs were issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!

"Symphony Replacement" radio program #13 featuring the Kansas City Philharmonic Orchestra from December 23, 1944.  The orchestra is conducted by Efrem Kurtz

Music includes:

1. "Overture To The Marriage Of Figaro" Mozart

2. "Symphony #1" Shostakovich

I could not find any reference to any existing copy of this radio broadcast in any online radio log or database

Discs are in Excellent condition with Excellent sound.  There is a slight wobble in both discs that does not effect play.  Beautiful discs from a collection that has sat untouched for decades
