Vintage Gold Castle Fine China Made in Japan. 1940s manufacture in post war Japan.
Dishes have a light blue band with darker blue flourishes, and floral sprays painted around the rim. 
Place setting consists of 3 3/4" cup and 5 1/2" saucer, 6 1/8" bread and butter plate, 7 1/2" salad or dessert plate and 9 3/4" dinner plate. 
They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. Most appear unused. Some dishes have some scuffs from being stacked in storage and some have minor utensil marks.
Many have incomplete gold edging, likely from rubbing against each other as well as age.
