Vintage German /Austrian Wooden Building Blocks Vintage Set In Box & 25 Pieces.

PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS BEFORE BUYING

A fantastic vintage German or Austrian child's woodblock building set. It is believed to date to the 1920s.

The wooden case contains a total of 25 blocks.

The corners of the box have dovetailed joints. It shows signs of wear and age.

The sliding top has a color-printed label of two children looking at an ornate building. Some of the pieces in the box relate to this building.

There are 25 blocks in total. They are of different shapes and sizes. Some are decorated and some are plain. Some look well used and others look so clean they might be replacement pieces or were just never used. The red film on one of the windows has a small hole.

No maker is noted on the box, although at the bottom of the cover picture, there are printed letters and numbers:

G 05 100000 Dr. 1066

On the underside of the lid, there is a printed piece of paper that features pictures of project ideas and the letters & numbers:

Ma 8 150000 24135. The piece of paper is quite tatty around the edges.

The building projects look like they would need a lot more than 25 pieces to complete.
