Up for sale is an early edition of In the Night Kitchen, by Maurice Sendak. Signed by the author/illustrator, and personalized "For Walter, Hello!" with the year "'81" beneath the signature. This version of the book has all the hallmarks of a first edition, including the Harper & Row with 1070 on the inner flap, the 7 titles by the author list on the back flap, and the white cloth covers with inset illustrated sticker on the front, but it also include the Caldecott medal on the DJ cover.
