Vintage Handmade 18k Rose Gold 10.50ct Alexandrite Solitaire size: 6.25 Ring,  7.0 grams

This is an absolutely stunning, handmade 18kt rose gold Alexandrite solitaire ring.

This magnificent high end piece features a huge, very luxurious 10.50ct brilliant cut color changing lab-created Alexandrite gemstone.

This fascinating gem changes its color from purple to purplish red to bluish green, dependent upon the lighting.

This rare timeless design of the hand carved mounting is amazing.

This most unusual 18kt gold mounting was totally handmade, from wax carving to centrifuged hand casting to hand finishing and polishing.

This piece was designed to hold the gem in the most secure way with a very thick sides being supported with a nice thick gold band.

 The very thick, high polished wider side of a half bezel, has the appearance of a shiny, spherical champagne glass, gracefully holding the gem in place.

The smaller part is also very thick and has a very distinct rounded, high polish design.

The smaller part of the half-bezel, that appears to intersect directly through the wider part of the mounting, was individually hand crafted and then hand soldered on to the main shank.

This most unique, high end design, looks  very modern even today.

The entire mounting is very strong and powerful, it was definitely made to last a lifetime.

Though the top of the ring will stand approximately 11.6mm high, it could  be safely worn on a daily basis.

There are signs of wear on the gemstone that do not take away from the beauty of this piece.

This exquisitely designed handmade ring will transcend generations.
