These are Zermatt Sling chairs, designed by Duncan Burke and Gunter Eberle for the Vecta Group in the early 1970s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have three available for purchase. The chairs were manufactured in the USA, and their design features a padded dark pink vinyl sling seat on a tubular chromed-steel frame. They are extremely well-constructed and are quite comfortable.
Each chair measures 30 inches deep, 28 inches wide, and 27 inches high. They have a seat height of 14 inches, and an arm height of 24 inches. There is a solid patina present, and there is some pitting visible on the tubular frames. There are some missing end caps at the ends of the frame. The vinyl shows fading and creasing, and there are spots evident on the material. Overall, these chairs are in good vintage condition with signs of age. Please see photos.
The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
