This is an LC-2 Three-Seat Sofa, initially designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. This example dates to the 2010s and was manufactured in Italy by Cassina. Cassina has been the only exclusively licensed producer of this model since 1965. The design features an outer frame of highly polished chromed-steel and has lush black leather upholstery over generously-sized removable cushions.

The sofa measures 27.6 inches deep, 71 inches wide, and is 26.4 inches high. It has an arm height of 26.4 inches, and a seat height of 18.9 inches. There is some minor wear on the leather, including some small scuffs and scratches. There is also a patina to the leather that has rendered it to be soft & supple. The original Cassina label is affixed under the seat. Overall, this sofa is in terrific condition with light wear. Please see photos.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
