This is a pair of "214" coffee tables, originally designed by Kurt Ostervig for Jason Mobler in the 1960s. The listed price includes the pair. Their design features a solid frame of teak, and each table has one lower shelf with a braided reed surface. They were manufactured in Denmark sometime in the early 1960s.
Each table measures 31 inches long and 31 inches wide, and is 19.75 inches high. The lower shelf is 16.5 inches high. There are a few watermarks on the surface of the tables, and the caning has light damage in some places. Upon request, we can have our restoration partner re-do the cane work for an additional cost. Overall, these tables are in very good condition with age apparent. Please see photos.
The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
