Technical Notes

  • 9 gauge diameter single stage spokes feature a natural finish and two sizes 21.5mm and 15.5 mm. Cross four on drum side and two on small hub diameter end. Nipples are stainless steel. *NOTE: We suggest using 22mm long nipples when lacing 45 Front drum wheels. *NOTE: If required longer nipples are available separately.
  • Suggested to use with #52-0945 Conventional and #52-0946 Replica 40 Spoke 18 inch X 3.15 inch Front Wheel Rims.
  • Required to use with #45-0922 40 Piece Spoke Nipple Set Stainless Steel if longer nipples are needed.
  • Information for lacing the 18 inch 45 inch wheel: Drum Side - Top cross 1 spoke head face down. Lower spoke cross 1 spoke head faces up.
  • Spook side - top spoke cross 4 clockwise. Lower spoke cross 4 counter clockwise. 11/16 inch offset from drum flange to side of rim.
