Keel - SCARCE 1st EDITION 1st PRINT Paperback - Published in 1978 by Manor Books - 288 pages - Good-very good condition. This early classic is an exhaustive study of unidentified flying objects revealing their source and the forces that control them. The real UFO story must encompass all of the many manifestations being observed.  This is the story of ghosts and phantoms and strange mental aberrations; of an invisible world which surrounds us and occasionally engulfs us; of prophets and prophecies; of gods and demons.  It is a world of illusion and hallucination where the unreal seems very real and where reality itself is distorted by strange forces which can seemingly manipulate space and time and physical matter – forces which are almost entirely beyond our powers of comprehension.  The author has gathered together the evidence that the majority of UFO's are in the same category, and coming from the same place (wherever that is), as demons, leprechauns, fairies, ghosts, etc.  He does acknowledge that some UFO's may be real physical craft built by aliens, but also suggests that these aliens might use holograms instead of their physical spacecraft when flying in our skies which would explain how they can fly so erratically and how they can disappear so easily.  This classic compendium is a must read for anyone interested in UFOs or ancient alien theories.  It is the book that answers the questions that noted ancient alien theorist Erich Von Daniken put forth in his classic 1968 book Chariots of the Gods.  There is some general edge wear and a 1" diagonal crease on the top right corner of the cover (see the scan), but this SCARCE paperback is still in very collectible condition.  No collection of books about UFO theories and encounters is complete without this early classic.  Please see the scan for the cover and so you can judge the condition for yourself (unlike many other booksellers, who post generic scans, the book in my scan is the one you will get).  You can try to buy this book for less money from one of those eBay booksellers with hundreds, if not, thousands of negatives (you know the ones I refer to) and be lucky if the book is delivered in the stated condition (if you even get it at all), or you can buy it from me and be assured of a prompt delivery and receiving a book true to the stated condition.
