This is an original Skeleton Chair, designed in 1993 by Michael Aram for his 'Flights of Fancy’ Collection. This particular example is quite special as it has a hand-etched signature, signifying it as an early production piece. The chair was handmade in cast and polished aluminum and stainless steel. Every chair undergoes a series of casting, filing, welding and oxidation techniques, and no two chairs will ever be exactly the same. The finish results from a specialized patination process that will not corrode and requires little upkeep.

This chair measures 17 inches deep, 19 inches wide, and is 32 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.5 inches. The polished aluminum finish has some small spots. Overall, this chair is in very good vintage condition with light wear. Please see photos.
