Chamberlain had met Hitler at Berchtesgaden on 15 September 1938 and Godesberg on 22-24 September. The Munich Agreement was signed on 29 September 1938, supposedly bringing about ‘Peace in our time…’.

Pierre-Alexandre Morlon (1878-1951) Sculptor and medallist. Born in Mâcon. Studied under Falguière, Mercie and H Dubois. Exhibited from 1900.
