The Journey to Perfection

This collection was five years in the making. Queen’s production team painstakingly researched the original master tapes to find the best possible sources, leading to significant audio improvements on tracks like "Under Pressure" and several songs from "Innuendo."

The decision was made to create new super-high-quality digital masters (24-bit/96kHz) from which the vinyl was cut, allowing for meticulous restoration with the lightest of touches and profound respect for the original recordings. The result is a sound that is richer, deeper, and more detailed than ever before.

The final lacquers were cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. This technique doubles the accuracy of the groove-cutting process, resulting in superior reproduction of the music when played back on your turntable. After exhaustive quality control and test pressings, the manufacturing was handled by Optimal in Germany, renowned for their audiophile-quality pressings.
