This is a good miniature specimen of the rhodochrosite that was found decades ago at the large copper mine in Cananea. The specimen features massive crystalline rhodochrosite with a deep pink color. The rhodochrosite occurs in a massive quartz matrix with minor pyrite and other sulfides.
