Zodiac Clearwater LM3-24 - Salt Water Replacement Cell & Output Lead - Generic

All of our cells in the Clearwater self cleaning range are made in Australia and will produce the same amount as the original cells. We only use platinum coated titanium imported from the largest exporter of this product in the USA. This has proven to be the best and most consistent material over the past 20+ years. That is why from our experience, the generic cells we source will last as long, and in most cases longer than the original part.


The latest version 3 upgrade of this generic model has been implemented to increase the lifespan of this cell, which can be prone to premature failure due to current leakage, in particular the ends of the electrode plate. By enclosing these plates in a cell chamber it protects all sides of the electrode, while still allowing for adequate water flow and ultimately getting the longest life possible from the cell.

Please note the following - The cell casings of these generic cells are shorter than the original part, however the cell plate numbers and length are exactly the same. This is the most important fact in the cells performance. This is not a replacement for the DuoClear Units which look similar. We have these listed also. 

When replacing the genuine cell with this generic cell, the LM3 Cell Adaptor which is part of the genuine cell, must be removed from the cell housing for the generic cell to fit.  The part can sometimes get stuck in the housing, but will come out.  If you are unsure about this, we can explain further.  

We also highly recommend replacing the cell output lead if your current one is getting old and worn.  If it is not replaced and overheating occurs due to a bad connection, damage to the cell will not be covered under warranty, as it is not the fault of the cell when this occurs.  We sell this cell and output lead as a package.
