This vintage Fleischmann steam engine tin toy from Germany is a true gem for collectors.  This is a very early model, no name plate but is similar to others from Fleischmann.  With its unique design and intricate details, this toy is a must-have for those who appreciate the beauty of vintage toys.  This toy has stood the test of time and is still in great shape for its age, watch video to see it operate.

The brand, Fleischmann, is known for its quality craftsmanship, and this toy is no exception. This toy is used and shows discoloration of brass boiler and metal mounting base.  Base is approximately 7 inches by 6 inches.  Top of whistle measures 5 1/4 inches.  It comes with the original fire tray.  It is missing the 'smoke stack'.  As you can see it was lovingly played with (some smoke residue on bottom of boiler).  Boiler has an attached steam whistle with valve and a safety pop off.  Piston and wheel operate as intended.  This is a great piece for the collector or someone interested in steam power generation.  Would also make a great gift for that retired boiler operator.  Thanks for looking.
