This is a Cyclone side table, model 87, designed by Isamu Noguchi for Knoll in 1953. This example dates to the 1960s. The piece has a cast-iron base which is coated in black porcelain enamel and has a white laminate top. The design’s chromed-steel wire construction rendered it a great fit to market alongside the Bertoia children’s chair. Knoll ceased production of this model in 1974, but it was reintroduced in 2003.

This side table is 24 inches in diameter and is 20 inches tall. The piece is all original, and there is a bit of patina where the wire rods connect to the base. There is light wear apparent at the edge of the top where the laminate is connected, and some nicks are present at the top’s edges. Overall, this piece is in good vintage condition with light visible wear. Please see photos.
