Listed for sale is a pair of gorgeous and original 5-LC New York Lounge Chairs, designed by Katavolos, Littel, and Kelley for Laverne (Erwine and Estelle Laverne). These are rare and original examples, which have been impeccably reupholstered in new leather with new foam. The chairs were produced circa 1953. The upholstery seems to be very recent.
These examples are overall in excellent vintage condition, showing some light wear and patina to the chromed frames. See photos. The chairs measure 28 x 28 x 28.5 inches. Both chairs are included as part of the listing price.
The buyer may pick up the lounge chairs, have them shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible.
