Porsche 992 911s equipped with active exhaust system use an
electronic actuator. A spring is used to turn the valve located inside the
pipe.
This spring often breaks over time due to heat and wear and tear, resulting in a rattle
noise and or an engine light.
The dealer solution is to purchase a new actuator as the
spring is not available separately. This can be a costly repair.
You can now replace a broken or damage spring with this
replacement kit!
Kit Contains:
1x Replacement exhaust actuator spring. Uses an improved design profile for longer service life
3x Replacement anti-corrosion coated hardware. The original bolts often seize/corrode or damaged during removal and cannot be reused

Ensure you test your actuator for functionality before purchase of this kit as
there are no returns
-Installation of the replacement spring may require multiple
repositioning of actuator as you tighten down nuts. Ensure proper mating of
spring on both actuator and exhaust side
-Depending on your vehicle, you may require the OEM
diagnostic tool to reset/relearn exhaust valve position after replacement
spring installation. Verify with OEM service manual and follow procedures
