It is a perfect replacement for the original crossmember that is located just in front of the rear axle which supports the rear end of the fuel tank and the passenger side upper shock mount.
* 【Shock Mount Crossmember】It is a replacement for the crossmember located after the rear axle,which supports the spare tire mounting plate and the upper rear shock mount. For easy installation, two outer end plates and right side inner mounting plate are shipped loose.
* 【Easy Installation】There is no need to remove the truck bed, just remove the old shock. Set the replacement crossmember in place, weld it solid, and then reinstall your fuel tank and new shocks.
