 Published in 1880; this is a beautiful impression with plate tone printed in black ink and full original margins on watermarked (PORTFOLIO ) paper from "The Portfolio" edition, published in London in 1880 in by Seeley, Jackson & Halliday and edited by 19th Century artist and art critic and etcher Phillip Gilbert Hamerton.

George Percy Jacomb-Hood MVO was a painter, etcher and illustrator. He was a founding member of the New English Art Club and Society of Portrait Painters.
