Lovely vintage decorative plate entitled "Little Mother" from Sebastian Miniatures "There Was A Time" series, c.1979. This piece was sculpted by Prescott W Baston. Attractive pewter-look rim. Comes with the box and over-sleeve.

The back says: Little Mother – “There was a time when a young girl's only entertainment was caring for her dolly. This was before movies, and of course, television.”

A third edition plate in the series – “There Was A Time” #2055 of 15,000.

Great vintage condition with some minor wear on the back side, consistent with age.
