How to Choose The Right Bandsaw Blade For Your Project?

A bandsaw can make many cuts with precision and speed?when equipped with the right blade for the application. But which blade for which application?

Bandsaw blades come in a wide range of lengths, widths, and TPI (Teeth Per Inch). Each dimension matters when choosing the right blade for your machine and application.

• Length: Refer to your machine manual. If unsure, share your bandsaw's make and model, and we will help find the correct length.
• Width & TPI: These dimensions affect the cut and finish. Use the guide below:

• For tight curves (< 5?8" radius) and thin materials: 1/4" wide & 10?14 TPI.
• For curves > 5?8" radius or fine cuts: 1/4" - 3/8" wide & 6 TPI.
• For general ripping/crosscutting: 1/2" - 3/4" wide & 3 TPI.
• For resawing: The widest 3?6 TPI blade your saw accepts.
