Notice for U.S. Customers

Dear Customers,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, including government decisions and new customs requirements, courier companies we work with have temporarily suspended shipments from Poland to the United States. In practice, this means:

  • carriers are currently refusing to accept parcels destined for the U.S.,

  • any packages that are sent may be subject to significant delays or returns,

  • additional customs procedures are further complicating the delivery process.

As a result, we are currently unable to fulfill orders to the United States.

If you are located in the U.S., we kindly ask that you refrain from placing orders until regular shipping options are restored.

We apologize for the inconvenience — this situation is beyond our control. We remain in contact with our shipping partners and are working to resume deliveries to the U.S. as soon as possible.

Reason for the Temporary Suspension of Shipments to the U.S.

As of August 25, 2025, new customs regulations in the United States have eliminated the previous duty exemption for goods valued up to $800. This means that every package containing goods may now be subject to additional duties and inspections.

The lack of clear procedures for duty collection and coordination with U.S. customs authorities has resulted in logistical chaos, preventing the efficient handling of parcels containing goods.

As a result, the dispatch of goods-containing shipments to the U.S. has been temporarily suspended — this applies to both parcels and declared-value letters. Only correspondence and documents can still be sent.

This is a temporary measure. We are closely monitoring the situation and will resume full shipping services to the U.S. as soon as logistics and customs conditions allow.

Sandrin Torino; innovation and inspiration come together in this folding everyday knife with a state-of-the-art blade, ergonomic handle design and a revolutionary new locking mechanism.

Sandrin knives are made from patented Polyhedral Tungsten Carbide (PTC), a flexible tungsten carbide that surpasses steel in edge durability. Measuring 71HRC on the Rockwell hardness scale, the Torino retains its razor-sharp edge much longer than any production steel knife. New to the Torino is a raw carbide finish on the blade - its striking appearance is achieved by PTC grinding with fine diamonds. Unlike steel, the Torino's blade is completely rust resistant, making it suitable for both fresh and salt water use. The thumb ramp features carefully crafted grooves, while the rest of the back and finger choil has convenient chamfered edges.
Ceramic ball bearing ensures smooth opening and closing of the knife. The sturdy, double-sided thumb stud allows both right and left-handed people to open the knife with one hand. The blade is locked with the Recoil Lock, an innovative system designed by renowned knifemaker and designer, Snecx Tan. The two-way lock secures the blade in the open position. Locking the knife is accomplished by sliding the backspacer backwards, which eliminates accidental unlocking of the blade.
The eye-catching red handle is made of G-10 plastic and the deep handle milling reduces the weight of the knife and provides a secure grip. Two-position (right/left) titanium clip allows you to carry the knife on either side in tip-up position. The holes on the clip are arranged in a Fibonacci sequence, characteristic of Sandrin Knives.

Sandrin Knives is part of Turmond S.P.A., a company that has been manufacturing high-end knives and industrial components made from tungsten carbide since 1969. Years of experience have led to the development of the StaySharp Technology™ to produce a 71HRC blade hardness which translates into unbelievably long blade life. This hardness was previously achieved by knives made of ceramic, but unlike ceramic, the StaySharp Technology™ blade remains flexible. These properties make this material ideal for the blades of traditional folding knives.
