Coated surface does not easily peel off or tear like other coated sponges on the market. They are radiolucent and have minimal shadowing with low attenuation. These unique heavy-duty sponges are designed and manufactured with a patented flared angle that significantly reduces artifacts during x-ray imaging. The flared sides increase the overall size of a standard non-flared sponge but does not affect imaging or positioning. A superior design for superior images.
