Nabokov, Vladimir - Nabokov’s Quartet - Phaedra Publishers: New York, 1966 - First Edition / First Printing / Variant A Binding - “First Edition” stated on the copyright page as required in order to denote the first printing of the first edition. The preferred variant A binding with green paste downs and end pages.

The book is tanned around the edges and has some minor shelf wear. The boards are still straight, the lettering on the spine is clean and legible, the binding is square and tight, and internally the text block is free of writing or other serious flaws. The dust jacket is soiled, tanned and edge worn with some shallow chips and short tears. A solid and still presentable example of this uncommon Nabokov title. This was the first appearance in English of two of the shorts contained within. Uncommon in the preferred binding with the green end pages instead of the more common white.
