This example has a small stain to the rear board, tanning to the spine label, a name neatly penned on the front end page and some minor shelf wear. That being said, the boards are bright, binding is square and firm, and the block is very clean internally. Likely one of the nicest unjacketed copies of this work we have seen in a while now. This is the correct first issue with the required "happned" and "suppper" textual errors present. A beautiful copy of one of Cather's two most important and lasting works.
