Backstory: To my mind Derrick Bell was a leading legal thinker, social
critic, activist, and articulate spokesperson for minority perspectives
especially on issues of race and justice.
This book explores and analyzes challenges to authority including his
own challenge to Harvard that cost him his teaching position there. He offers
stories of others who challenge: Paul Robeson, Daniel Ellsberg, and Fanny Lou
Hamer. A rare opportunity to own this important book, signed by Bell. I could find no other signed copies. Gift
quality.
