An essential item for caravans or a workshop where a 15 Amp lead is needed to be plugged in a standard 10 Amp 240 volt power point like the ones found around a typical household, safely.

Using this interface It would allow for an extension lead, such as the ones used in caravans, or a power tool that has a 15 Amp plug to be connected to a standard 10 Amp wall socket, safely. Its built in and re-settable, Circuit breaker will detect an overload or other electrical issues and will cut power off immediately to prevent electrical accidents.

( Note. 15 Amp devices have a wider than normal earth pin that cannot fit in a standard socket. It is an electrical safety feature).

This unit is ruggedly built and has independent compartments for the circuit breaker and socket connection. Both compartments have independent lids that are solidly built, with strong locking systems and are well sealed to prevent water penetration in wet conditions. As such the device carries an IP 54 weather rating certification and it designed for outdoor use, especially where there is moisture or other hazardous conditions present.

Apart from caravans and camping this unit can also be used in workshops or around the house as a safety cutoff device to power electric tools or other equipment and for this there is also a hanging hook provided for, in its design, for wall or pole mounting, if this is needed.
