This beautiful teapot was made by James Sadler & Sons in England ca. 1956. The style is the 'Louis' shape, but it is commonly known as 'Cube Shaped.'  The pot and lid are decorated in the colorful Indian Tree pattern, which features a crooked tree branch, large pink peonies, and green foliage.  A green and red Greek Key like pattern surrounds the top of the pot.  Both pieces are decorated with heavy gold accents.  Excellent condition; no chips, scratches, or repairs.  There are several minute black spots under the glaze, which frequently happened when older pieces were fired.  A perfect gift for a teapot or Indian Tree collector!
