These 2 daguerreotypes look as though they are of the same woman, one of her alone, the other of her with a man. They need to be cleaned

Woman alone - Woman is wearing tight fitted cloth head-covering tied under her chin.  She is seated and holding a pair of glasses in her left hand. Her expression is serious. The case is still attached at the top left with a cloth hinge, but is separated at the bottom left.  It has a single curved hook clasp.  The front and back of the case have a tooled flower-filled woven basket with 2 birds (turtle doves?) hovering over the flowers. The red velvet inside the front cover is plain.

Couple - What looks like the same woman is seated on the right, with the same head-covering tied below her chin.  Her hands are crossed in her lap, and she might still have those glasses in her right hand.  Same serious expression.  The man is dressed in a suit with a white shirt and black tie on the outside of the collar.  His right hand is holding on to the arm of the sofa.  The front and back of the tooled leather case has a frame-like design with pebbling inside the frame.  The top is separated from the bottom on the cloth-hinge side but it has 2 curved metal clasps that still hook the 2 right sides together.  The red velvet inside the cover has a flower-filled basket design.

Both photos are 2 x 2 1/2", both frames are 3 1/4" x 3 5/8"
