| N Scale Blair Line 1007 Farmer's Fertilizer Bulk Plant Kit
Add new business alongside your railroad with this Bulk Fertilizer Plant. A familiar sight since the 1940s, these operations receive various dry ingredients in hopper cars, which are moved to inside storage bins through a series of augers and conveyors. Batches of fertilizer are then custom-mixed and loaded into special application machinery for delivery right to the field. Some operations also make and sell smaller batches in bags for gardeners and homeowners. Found all across rural America and Canada, this kit builds into a typical facility that's perfect for layouts from the 1960s to the present.
The kit features laser-cut floor, sub-roof and walls with tab and slot construction. Laser-cut peel-n-stick trim, doors, window glazing and roofing are all included for easy assembly. The kit also includes laser-cut parts for a truck-loading conveyor that can be installed at either end or side. A bucket elevator for hopper unloading, complete with unloading pan, ladder, handrails and control cabinet is also included. A set of signs rounds out the kit.
