Battlestar Galactica Basic Ship Model from the New Series

  • From the 2004 Battlestar Galactica TV Series, own your very own highly detailed model of the Battlestar Galactica Re-imagined.
  • Big Battlestar Galactica fan? Fancy a large modelling and painting project? Many, many hours of fun to be had painting and detailing this model.
  • This is a highly detailed model that measures around 40cm in length. The unpainted version will require some tidying up on your part. This would include a little trimming, light sanding and painting to cover any blemishes from the printing process. There will be some blemishes that will need covering during painting due to the complexity and high detail of this model but once finished, you will have an incredibly detailed ship model of The Galactica Re-Imagined.
  • Be under no illusions, this will require signifcant effort on your part and a painstaking painting process to create a perfectly finished article!
  • The Galactica is printed in a total of 6 sections and will require gluing together by yourself. The joins/seams are accurate and if aligned carefully, they blend in well and can be covered during painting.
  • If you want to skip the hard work; at some point in the near future, we will be offering a fully finished and painted version of this model, so make sure you check back soon!
  • Comes with a free stand which is available in several colours. The ‘Light Gold’ would really go well with it, or you could go with a plain colour if you are intending to paint the stand as well.

Free delivery only applies to UK orders which are shipped via Royal Mail 48. Orders to Europe are charged at £9.99 plus £1.99 per additional item and are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked.

Sales Terms & 3d Printed Items

Quality; As this item is 3d printed, it is possible it may contain some minor blemishes and imperfections from the printing process. However, please be assured that we have a certain standard that all of our 3d prints must meet before they are shipped.  These minor blemishes will never affect the usability or durability of the item but please be aware of this before ordering. Dependant on the item, we use resolution as low as 0.05mm to achieve the best possible prints. We use real pictures of our printed items and the item you receive will be of the same or better quality than what is shown.

Model replicas, cosplay and prop items; Sometimes we may show images of the finished product, after it has been finished and painted. However, unless they are marked as 'Painted' these are for demonstration purposes only and you can expect that the prints you receive will require 'finishing' (i.e. light sanding/smoothing/painting) should you wish.

Painted items; Some of our listings offer fully hand-painted versions and will be clearly mark as being sold 'Painted'. We use a high quality paint to achieve an authentic finish. These are created to order and the finished product can vary slightly in appearance. This does mean that if you order the same item on difference occasions, there can be a variation in the painted finish and as such, we advise you to try and order what you require all in one go.

Eco-Friendly: Unless otherwise stated in the auction, we use PLA plastic which is derived from plant based corn starch. This is one of the most bio-degradable plastics you can use in 3d printing, whilst at the same time, still remaining durable and able to withstand everyday use.

Some of our items have been printed from models that other people have created. In these cases, your delivery will contain a small label giving credit to the original author.
