The passes vary in size from 4” x 4” to 5” x 3”. Light soiling from the back of stickers peeling with some fraying, near fine.

All items are near fine with light soiling and edgewear. All the passes are for Prince and the Revolution’s Purple Rain Tour. The backstage passes are from venues in the California Area with brightly colored designs of purple rain and Prince’s signature lettering. The passes were previously owned by someone who worked back stage for concerts in the California area. Prince’s hit film Purple Rain (1984), was an instant success. The studio album Purple Rain was used as the film’s soundtrack and stared Prince in the semi-autobiographical film. The Purple Rain album sold more than 13 million copies in the US and the film won Prince an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score. Thus giving Prince both the No. 1 album, single, and film in the US, simultaneously. After his death Prince's catalog sold 4.41 million albums and songs from April 21 to 28, with five of his albums in the top ten of the Billboard 200, a first in the chart's history. Remembered "as a musician, composer, innovator, and cultural icon," Prince has been a huge influence to musicians and fans alike.
