HB book, "The State of Society in France before the Revolution of 1789. . .", by de Tocqueville, translated by Reeve, 3rd ed., John Murray, 1888.  Book is in decent shape, leather spine and corners (has some wear/tears), some fading/discoloration, binding is cracking near the front, some yellowing, some pencil underlining/bracketing on a few pages, some age spots, some pencil writing in front.  A neat book.
