Please examine photos. They are THIS item and are part of the description. I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.

This is a rare survivor of the early days of "The Great War" (World War I before anyone knew there would be a second) when thousands of German men enlisted to defend the Fatherland under Kaiser Wilhelm II. The tin badge was awarded to a new Infantry recruit and reads "Zur Einnerung an meine Musterung" (To remember my mustering). I was able to find jst a few similar badges, none the same or as elaborate. One small partial badge is offered for $149. Others at a Philipp militaria site are just marked SOLD. This is an original relic, not a knock off. You will not find another.

Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
