For sale is a Holy Right-aligned Dakshinavarthi Puja Shank or Shell. This Lightning shank is also called a 'Balamuri Shanka' in South India.

The Dakshinavarthi shank is considered a procreation of the Goddess Lakshmi and thus confers health, wealth and happiness to residents of a home that this holy shank resides in. It is also used in Hindu religious rites.

The shell was locally sourced from the waters of the Gulf in Florida. I have hygienically cleaned it and it does not exhibit any odor. Please note that I have not polished it and it has natural flaws in it. The shell weighs 2lbs and 11ozs.

The shank measures approximately 12- 13ins. in length and 7 ins. at it's widest part.
