The collected lyrical poetry of the famous Persian classical poet Khajeh Shamseddin Mohammad Hafez Shirazi, in original Persian calligraphy by Abbas Akhaveyn, with paintings and illumination by Mahmoud Farshchian. The printing, binding, illuminations, miniatures and calligraphy are all lovely quality, on heavyweight art paper.

Condition Notes: Sturdy pictorial slipcase clean and bright, light scuffing and edgewear. Heavyweight dj clean and bright, several superficial scuffs to spine (see detail photo). Beautiful silver and gilt embossed boards clean, bright, and unworn. Pages, plates, patterned endpapaers clean; note on half-title (see detail photo), otherwise unmarked. Gilt and multi illuminations bright and unworn. Binding firm and square.
