Two early Currier & Ives prints wonderfully framed for a museum display! These 12.75 x 8.25”, 1846 Currier and Ives prints are in rough condition, but have been incredibly professionally framed in shadowbox frames with afixed brass plaques. Images depict the historically important Adieu and Return of sailors, leaving for the Mexican war in 1846. Both prints exhibit fairly significant losses, significant toning, and watermarks, but have been well framed in plexiglass boxes for a museum display.
