Nike Dunk Low “Red Panda” forgoes the two-toned color blocking signature to the silhouette. According to the mock-ups, “Sanddrift” is used along the toe cap, eye stays, and Swoosh, while “Velvet Brown” complements around the counter. “Rugged Orange,” a shade more reminiscent of the lesser panda, is then applied to the tongue label and heel tab, further obscuring the dark suede base.
This new Panda Dunk is a nod to the fur of the red panda, the small mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. The sneaker will feature dark Grey/Black suede underlays with matte leather overlays done in White. The Red accents comes by way of the suede overlays on the rear portion of the sneaker. Other details include Black and White mesh tongues and lining atop a classic two-tone (Black/Brown) rubber outsole. Orange hits take care of the Nike branding on the tongues, heels and insoles.
