This is a beautiful long black skirt from the Canadian luxury retailer Holt Renfrew. Expensive. No one has ever worn it.

It feels like a light wool knit; it's a cotton-rayon blend. It will not crease, so it's great for traveling.

It's slinky, and has a really luxurious weight to it. It appears to be straight up and down but it's so nicely cut that there's a bit of a swirl at the bottom when you walk. Very elegant.

I took a couple of photos without color so you can see the weave, the vent, and the waistband (and the lint).

It's 40" long. 
When laid flat, the waist is 14" (28"), but it stretches another two inches.
19" hip but it will stretch or fall straight.
16" back vent; if you like, you can turn it around so that the vent is at the front.

It's Holt Renfrew size Medium; I'd say size 8-10.
