This beautiful framed print by Brazialian-born Ozz Franca captures the essence of mid-century modern art with its striking depiction of a Big City's Downtown area with its skyscrapers, bridges, and busy, bustling energy as seen from the point of view of a sea-borne vessel approaching the harbor.
Franca died in 1991 but in his time was known for his cityscapes, landscapes, figural pieces, and probably most notably for the painted children with oversized eyes on oversized heads staring adorably at the viewer. They were always sure to bring a tear to the eyes of Sally Struthers.
