This beautiful Reuge Capodimonte porcelain musical lipstick/cigarette carousel measures 13.5"h and 7"w. It is NOT IN WORKING CONDITION. I was told that it "needs some tinkering & may be overwound." I am no expert on music boxes and therefore have no credibility in diagnosing the issue. The song doesn't play when you push the button, and it does not open up when you push the button. You have to manually open it yourself. I'm sure some simple servicing would get it going.

When you get it serviced, it should play "Speak Softly Love." Other than that, it has some crazing/crackling on the glaze consistent with age and the gold portions have some build-up or whatever that stuff is - see pictures. Aside from that, this piece is just beautful - from the cherub finial on the top to the floor harp in the inside center. It is hand made & hand painted. The sticker on bottom says:  Reuge. Speak Softly Love. Swiss Musical Movement.
