hopper is in overall Excellent cosmetic condition. minimal wheel wear. slight blemishes on the plastic. Box is in very good condition - some slight shelf wear.
This is from an estate sale - The trains have been stored in a basement for 20+ years and as such may have some dust/dirt on/in the boxes. Sold As IS - most of the trains I am listing have not been run on a layout in 25 years (if at all). I take them out of the box and test them for function - then list them. I will NOT take a return on an engine that stops working AFTER you have run it a few hours. These trains are 25-50 years old and may have issues - I am NOT a train retailer and as such have done NO service/maintenance on the train being sold. If you uncomfortable with this policy then I recommend you buy a NEW train.
