Cosmetically these are in ok condition.  The Ti-83 Plus, when turned on, starts showing a completely dark screen where everything is blacked out immediately.  The Ti-85 has a little better screen function but has intermittent, faded lines predominately near the bottom, and also sometimes in the menus.  The Ti-85 also has a name scratched into the back.
