‘Ridge Runt’ Laser-cut Parts Set

This is Not a full kit, no plan is included and additional materials will be required to finish the model.

The Hobby Shack Ridge Runt was designed to be an aileron trainer for the pilot wishing to transition from rudder/elevator floaters. However, the experienced pilot will find it to be agile enough for basic aerobatics, and great fun for sport flying. Due to its simple construction and lightweight, the Ridge Runt will fly on any slope in light to moderate winds. Its clean design will also allow it to fly in high wind conditions with the addition of a small amount of ballast.

The box contains 29 laser-cut parts as follows:

• 14 wing ribs parts cut from hand-selected 2.4mm balsa
• 8 fuselage sides cut from hand-selected 2.4mm balsa
• 5 fuselage formers cut from 3.0mm liteply
• 2 wing braces cut in 3.0mm liteply
• No plan is included. This is not a complete kit.

Fuselage sides are joined using the ‘shark tooth’ method and require no additional doubler. All wing ribs are cut with servo cable pop-outs and vent holes to alleviate the ballooning issue when film covering. Unless you have an original and accurate plan, please do not take any online offering as being accurate.
