INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Put on safety glasses.Open the hood of your car. Out the prop rod into the correct spot to hold hood open.
2. Locate the six plastic fasteners that secure the front grille to the upper body support.
3. Pry up the plastic fasteners (6 total)using a small flat blade screwdriver. First remove the center, then removethe body of each plastic retainer. Set rivets aside in a safe place for re-installing the grille.
4. Gently tilt the grille forward and then gently pop the lower portion of grillefrom its (8) retaining clips.
5. Locate the"T"end of the new light wiring harness.
6. Fish it through the rubber barrier on the driver side of the radiator as shown.
7. Route the wiring harness behind the headlight and past the reservoir, towards the firewall on the driver's side.
8. Locate the drivers side fender flare lamp harness connector by looking from underneath the wheel well.
9. Slide the red locking tab backwards and disconnect the plug.
10. Then, plugin the new Tee harness to each side of the OEM harness until you hear a click and then push the red and gray locking tabs to lock the connections.
11. Locate the 2nd,4th and 6th slots in the grill as shown.
12. Then, locate the3rd horizontal support in the middle of the 2nd slot grill insert. The next step is to locate and cut the 4 angled supports for this horizontal support.
13. Carefully make the cuts with your side cutters / diagonal cutters.
14. Repeat these steps in the 4th, and 6th slot grille inserts.
15. Grille depicted with all three inserts cut.
16. Separate the grommet from the LED light on the harness and pass both the grommet and light through the hole in the 2nd grill slot.
17. Push the grommet into the hole in the grill insert.
18. Push the LED light into the grommet to set the light into the grill insert.
19. Repeat on the other two grille slots and secure the harness appropriately with the provided cable ties.
20. Finally, reinstall the Grille assembly in reverse order of the steps to remove it.
