The Royal Scot

by Terence Cuneo, 1984

The LMS "Royal Scot" is seen being hauled by the "Duchess Pacific" class "City of Lancaster". As the great rival to the "Flying Scotsman" service, the "Royal Scot" would leave Euston at 10 am. and after stopping at Rugby and dividing at Crewe, she would reach Glasgow and Edinburgh at 6.15 pm.

One of the set of five stamps "Famous Trains" designed by Terence Cuneo and issued in 1985 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the GWR (Great Western Railway).

Smart image in an A4 (30 x 21 cm. or 11.7 x 8.3 inch) size frame.

Naturally the picture you are bidding on does NOT have the "SAMPLE" watermark.
